JOBS First!
Our JOBS First! Program is offered to those individuals required to pay child support on a Huron County order and those making application for cash assistance and/or food stamp assistance.
The Workforce Division of Huron County DJFS along with the OhioMeansJobs – Huron County Center are required by law to assess the above individuals in order to determine what, if any, work activities would assist each individual client in reaching a level of self-sufficiency.

Said work activities may include a work experience site assignment, job readiness or job search activities within our OhioMeansJobs – Huron County Center, and/or employment and training opportunities. Also depending on each individuals’ needs, supportive services along with additional referrals may be made to other Huron County DJFS and/or community partner programs.
